The SEAWOLF is the U.S. Navy's newest attack submarine class. Originally intended as a class of 29 submarines to be built during a ten-year period, the end of the Cold War and budget constraints have led to a revision in submarine planning. Only three submarines of this design are now expected to be built. The SSN 21 is significantly quieter than the previous LOS ANGELES Class, faster, has more torpedo tubes, and carries more weapons - up to 50 torpedoes or missiles, or up to 100 mines. The SEAWOLF also introduces the advanced AN/BSY-2 combat system, which includes a new larger spherical sonar array, a Wide Aperture Array (WAA), and a new towed-array sonar.

HAHA, my fav also. Consider a nuclear torpedo! TCB- a far east country claiming to need the technology for farming, obtained an advanced milling machine, this beast (this happened about 15 years ago)allowed the old USSR to greatly close the gap in the noise that their subs made- prop wash is the loudest thing during "silent running". The threat kinda went away as relations with Russia got better, but if one captain of an attack sub could be "bought" by terrorists, the first warning you would have would be the missiles (if the operator and radar were advanced enough) rising high enough to be seen on radar. The subs carry several missiles , so you are talking about every city in California or targets like DC, Boston, Richmond, VA Beach, Baltimore in one strike .

My real fav sub sandwich is one that comes a little deli owned by these 2 greeks up in Alexandria, VA. Bozelli Brosthers Deli, it is called the metro and is on a loaf of bread (fresh Baked) not a bun it is about 16" long and 5" thick. Filled with 4 different kinds of meat lettuce, tomatoe, onion, mayo.
